8th Grade Progressive Era
The Progressive Era describes the first two decades in American history where many reforms took place.

In the progressive era the U.S banned alcohol thus causing the birth of gangs and criminals to a hihger elevation. Also women were fighting for the right to vote.

This Era banned acohol for a total of 12 years and woman were given the right to vote in 1920. they tried many times.
